Katie was born in Indianapolis and moved to Bedford after getting married to Derrick Barker, BNL's Head Football Coach.
She attended Indiana State University and earned a bachelor’s degree in Textiles, Apparel & Merchandising and minors in Business Administration and Marketing. Her skills in marketing and merchandising give her a unique insight into how to creatively market properties for her seller clients, and help buyers find their dream home.
Katie and Derrick have been married for 9 years; together they have two children and a dog. Though not originally from Bedford, Katie loves the community and small town atmosphere Bedford provides. You can usually find her at any football function supporting the program and her husband as head coach. When she is not there, she spends her free time reading, baking and making memories with her family.
